Steve Anderson is the former CEO of Therapeutic Associates, a physical therapy practice with more than 80 outpatient clinics in Washington, Oregon and Idaho that also serves as a major hospital contract in Southern California. Therapeutic Associates was formed in 1952, and Steve was only the 3rd CEO and held that position for 19 years, beginning in 1998 after 16 years with the company.
As a physical therapist, Steve started his career in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. In 1983 he opened the first Therapeutic Associates clinic in the state of Washington in West Seattle. As the owner and director of West Seattle Physical Therapy for 16 years, Steve was elected by his peers to become the CEO of Therapeutic Associates in 1998.
In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Steve is also active in national organizations related to physical therapy, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and as a Board of Trustee for The Foundation for Physical Therapy. He also served as the President of The Private Practice Section of APTA for 6 years between 2002 and 2008. He received his section’s most prestigious award, the Robert G. Dicus Service Award, in 2010.
Steve received the APTA Leadership Advocacy Award in 2006 for his efforts in Washington D.C. and Washington State in the legislative arena. In 2012 Steve received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Northwestern University Physical Therapy School. In 2016 Steve was awarded Physical Therapist of the Year by PTWA, the APTA chapter for the state of Washington.
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University. He went onto physical therapy school at Northwestern University in Chicago. He has been a physical therapist for 37 years and worked for Therapeutic Associates until the end of 2016. In addition to his duties with Orange Dot Consulting, he also serves as a Senior Healthcare Advisor for VGM Advantage. He resides in Seattle, Washington with his wife, Sharon.

In my decade of experience, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of clients and athletes in the private sector and in the team atmosphere. Throughout my career, I've worked with members from professional organizations in the NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB. Additionally, I've had the pleasure of working with the general population from all walks of life, including the likes of powerlifters, Olympic weightlifters, CrossFit athletes, marathon runners, and triathletes.
Working with healthy and injured athletes alike in both training and treatment, I've also been utilized regularly as a consultant with sports teams, collegiate athletic programs, and corporate companies. Most importantly, I view human connection, effective communication, and complete individualization as the most powerful coaching tools, regardless of service.
I place a strong emphasis on personal growth and continued education, in order to better serve the individuals I work with. Primarily, I focus on a movement-based approach through progressive strength development and technical skill acquisition. I am a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston where I obtained my Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise and Health Sciences, and the Cortiva Institute where I obtained my License in Manual Therapy.
As someone who stresses the value of walking the walk alongside my athletes and clients, it's important for me to consistently work on my own physical preparation as well. My most recent athletic endeavors have taken place on the powerlifting platform with competition bests of 385 squat, 285 bench press, and 465 deadlift.
My work has been published and featured in Men's Fitness, STACK, The Personal Trainer Development Center, The CrossFit Journal, Juggernaut Training Systems, UpDoc Media, Sports Rehab Expert, Boston Magazine, and Breaking Muscle.

Dr. Liebenson is the Director of L.A. Sports & Spine a pain management, rehabilitation & performance enhancement center providing one on one musculoskeletal care. He is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chiropractic, Division of Health Sciences at Murdoch University, Perth Australia and consultant for the the Anglo-European Chiropratic College M.Sc. programs in Chiropractic Rehabilitation. The first ever chiropractic member of the McKenzie Institute (U.S.) Board of Directors he serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals including the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation; the PM&R Journal of Injury, Function and Rehabilitation; the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy; and Journal of Manual Therapy.

Scot Morrison is a board certified physical therapist and strength coach who started his undergrad career as an engineering major. Kelly Starrett is a coach, physical therapist, author, speaker, and creator of this blog, which has revolutionized how athletes think about human movement and athletic performance.
His 2013 release, Becoming a Supple Leopard has become a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. Kelly and his work have been featured in Tim Ferris’ Four Hour Body, Competitor Magazine, Inside Triathlon, Outside Magazine, Details Magazine, Power Magazine, and the Crossfit Journal.
He teaches the wildly popular Crossfit Movement & Mobility Trainer course and has been a guest lecturer at the American Physical Therapy Association annual convention, Google, the Perform Better Summit, the Special Operations Medical Association annual conference, police departments, and elite military groups nationwide.
Coach Kelly Starrett received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, California.
Before starting his own physical therapy practice at San Francisco CrossFit, one of the first 30 CrossFit affiliates, he practiced performance-based physical therapy at the world-renowned Stone Clinic. In his current practice, Kelly continues to focus on performance-based Orthopedic Sports Medicine with an emphasis on returning athletes to elite level sport and performance.
Kelly’s clients have included Olympic gold-medalists, Tour de France cyclists, world and national record holding Olympic Lifting and Power athletes, Crossfit Games medalists, ballet dancers, military personnel, and competitive age-division athletes.
Kelly’s background as an athlete and coach includes paddling whitewater slalom canoe on the US Canoe and Kayak Teams, and leading the Men’s Whitewater Rafting Team to two national titles and competition in two World Championships. In his free time Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife Juliet and two daughters, Georgia and Caroline, surfing, paddling, Olympic lifting, hot-tubbing, and so-you-think-you-can-dancing.
